Luke McNicholas has been called up to the Ireland U21 squad for next week’s European Championship qualifier with Montenegro.
The Belcarra native who played underage football with Manulla is currently on loan at Northern Irish side Cliftonville from Sligo Rovers.
Meanwhile, Westport native Conor Walsh kept a clean sheet for the Republic of Ireland U17's last night as they saw off Andorra 5-0 at Turners Cross.
