Damp Duster: What is the viral cleaning product that everyone is using?

A new cleaning product is taking Instagram and TikTok by storm. Fans of Mrs Hinch have been sharing their excitement over the new "miracle" duster which claims to be more effective than a regular duster.

The cheap and effective product claims to "hold onto dust and debris when you wipe, rather than letting the dust fly away in the breeze". It has been popular in the US for months but has finally hit the UK market.

Cleaning influencers like Vanesa Amaro have raved about the damp duster since it came out last year in the US. Cleaning guru Mrs Hinch is a big fan of other Scrub Daddy products.

Scrub Daddy launched the product here in February after US customers had been using them for months. The official scrubdaddyuk Instagram account posted: "They're here, they're finally here! The Scrub Daddy Damp Dusters have landed! Get yours today online.

"The Damp Duster collects and traps dust in one quick wipe! Under running water it rinses clean so you can use it time and time again. Perfect for blinds, vents, baseboard, railings, mirrors and more! Product arrives pre-moistened in packaging. Dampen with water before each use to soften foam."

In a later post Scrub Daddy added: "What makes the Scrub Daddy Damp Duster different from standard dusters? The ridges of the sponge are designed to hold onto dust and debris when you wipe, rather than letting the dust fly away in the breeze".

Scrub Daddy fans were quick to share their excitement about the new £3.49 product. Many US-based cleaning accounts had been sharing content about the product over the last few months, drumming up excitement ahead of the launch.

Instagram user allthingsfi_ commented: "Omg this looks amazing, I need it!!" bexhouse_and_hinch said: "Just received my latest order gonna have to put another one in now coz need this - well want this".

cleankatieclean added: "I can't wait to order this, it's going to make my life complete". The product has been going viral on US and UK "CleanTok", which is the part of TikTok where people share all of their cleaning tips. Users have been sharing videos of them using the duster and showing the miracle results.
