The Karcher window vac loved by Stacey Solomon left my windows 'squeaky clean'
I’m the devoted owner to two extremely nosey dogs who can often be found with their faces in the window and barking at the postie.
It does also mean that the inside of our windows are frequently smeared with nose prints.
Anyone with sticky fingered children or wet nosed pups will know the perils of cleaning the windows day after day, only to have someone leaving a mark on it minutes later.
And after seeing Stacey Solomon using herKärcher window vacon her Instagram stories, it’s safe to say that I was pretty envious of her streak-free glass.

The Loose Women panellist has been using the Kärcher window vac since June 2020 having bought it as a Father’s Day Gift for partner Joe Swash.
She joked: “I've never seen him so excited. Happy Father's Day. 'At this point I'm not sure I actually bought this for him or for myself, I'll be pregnant in no time. He's so happy I can't stop laughing.”
Joe had been spotted cleaning the patio doors of their former Essex home before their move to Pickle Cottage. And yes, I’ve been longing for one ever since - that’s adulthood for you.
TheKärcher WV1 comes with a £42.99 price tag, and is a lightweight, handheld cleaner that can clean windows, mirrors, tiles and worktops.
I used ours to clean the windows, and it quite literally left everything ‘squeaky clean’.

The window vac is really easy to set up, charge and use. To charge, it’s very much a plug in and wait situation, and when fully charged, lasts around 25 minutes.
It may not sound like a particularly long time, but our house has ten windows - five large and five small - and we could do the whole house with one charge. On average, it takes two to three minutes to do each window on the first go.
But you soon master a technique that speeds up your window vac-ing experience.
To start I washed the windows in a hot water and white vinegar solution before switching on the Kärcher WV 1 at the touch of a button.
I placed the blade flush against the glass and began wiping methodically in vertical and horizontal swipes.
In no time, I could hear the squeaks that told me my window was practically sparkling. It was so clean, I could see my entire reflection in it.

I was quite surprised at how quiet the window vac was, but its suction was incredibly effective, leaving no streaks behind on the glass. The handheld gadget can even be used on condensation inside the house and even in the car.
Particularly handy for parents of youngsters, the vac can suck up liquid spills from floors and worktops, before the contents are poured down the sink from the removable tank.
The cleaning gadget is currently on offer on Amazon for £40, down from £42.99. Alternatively,Aldi have a dupe for just £19.99, with shoppers saying it’s ‘just as effective’.
Either way, I’m just happy to have windows that are free of wet dog nose prints.
